Google Drive bietet bis zu 100GB Speicherplatz und eine neue Suchtechnologie

Und es geht weiter. Derzeit gibt es fast keinen Tag, an dem keine Gerüchte oder Neuigkeiten über Google Drive diskutiert werden. Allerdings sind sich mittlerweile alle darüber einig, dass Google seinen Cloud Storage noch in dieser Woche veröffentlichen wird. Die letzten Neuigkeiten erschienen gestern Abend von Reuters. Demnach könnte Google Drive noch heute erscheinen.

Google Drive ermöglicht bis zu 100GB Speicherplatz

Reuters bezieht sich bei seinen Informationen auf “eine Person die mit der Angelegenheit vertraut sei”. Die Quelle vermutet zudem, dass Google Drive noch am heutigen Dienstag erscheinen könnte. Zudem kommen immer weitere Details zu den Eigenschaften des Google Cloud Storage an Licht.

So wird Google Drive neben den bereits bekannten 5GB kostenlosen Speicherplatz den Nutzern bis zu 100GB Speicherplatz bieten. Die Preise sollen sich an entsprechende Kapazitätsgrenzen richten wie von Dropbox oder Box bekannt und monatlich abgerechnet werden. Über Preise gibt es derzeit noch keine Informationen.

Laut der Reuters Quelle soll Google Drive zudem über eine neuartige “Bild-Suchtechnologie” verfügen, mit der Nutzer durch eine Vielzahl von Dokumenttypen wie PDF-Dateien oder Bilder navigieren können.
